Orleans Restaurant & Lounge is situated in the heart of Newmarket in historic Maple Gables. Originally built as a farm house in 1870 the building has seen many changes over the years and has evolved into a beautifully designed restaurant and lounge with great elegance and grace. Much of the original structure and fixtures remain making the building an officially designated historic site. At Orleans Restaurant & Lounge we take great pride in both the building and quality of service and products offered.

Our menu is a combination of traditional North American food with a Cajun Creole influence. All of our products are of the finest quality including Angus beef, fresh pasta, and the finest seafood. Our Cajun Creole items are traditional southern recipes that are not compromised. Our Jambalaya is made with real Andoulli Sausage and slow baked together with traditional ingredients and spices.

The food at Orleans is only half the story. We pride ourselves on bringing the finest in live Blues music available in York Region. We continuously search for the very best talent available and have had such acts as Julian Fauth, Chick “n” Beards, Andy Earle, Howard Ross and Connie Scriver. We feature live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

We also offer a private meeting room with full audio and video capabilities to host any type of function from weddings to corporate presentations and meetings.

We have also emerged as a destination for York Regions finest local talent with an Open MIC night every Tuesday hosted by Andy Earle
